This light engine was prepared to demonstrate that the a monochrome high power LED light source is ideal for use in Fringe Projection applications.

In this project the following adaptations were made:
- Formatter functionality through FPGA and software adaptations
- Input signal electronics board
- Monochrome design, not using colour wheel
- Mechanical adaptations
The unit gives 256 levels of grayscale (8 bit) @ 40 full frames per second and will serve as master, providing sync to the CCD camera system.
