Following a customer request, VISITECH put together a demonstrator for a structured light application. Using existing building blocks, this was done in a few weeks.
LUXBEAM 3000 B/W Light Engine
This LUXBEAM® 3000 light engine was built from the following Visitech building blocks:

In this project the following adaptations were made:
  • Formatter functionality through FPGA and software adaptation
  • Input signal configuration
  • Mechanical adaptations
  • PCB configuration for the actual application
The resolution of the DMD chip was XGA (1024 x 768), and measuring this prototype showed a brightness of 3000 ANSI Lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1.
