DVI, Digital Video Interface, is a video interface standard for high quality and high resolution  signals, and was designed to succeed the VGA interface.

The standard is split into the following sub-variants:

  • DVI-D: Digital signals only
  • DVI-A: Analog signals only
  • DVI-I: Integrated analog and digital signals
  • DVI-DL: Dual Link digital signals
