December 2007: VISITECH becomes sponsor to Plan Norge
VISITECH has decided to become a sponsor of Plan Norge, a Norwegian subsiduary of Plan International celebrating 10 years of activity this year. Through this effort our company is glad to be able to support 10 children in 6 different countries.
December 2007: 2nd Symposium on Emerging and Industrial DLP® Applications
 During November 27 the 2nd International Symposium on Emerging DLP® Applications was held in Wetzlar, Germany. This unique venue brought together about 100 users of the DLP® microdisplay technology and specialized engineering partners from all across Europe as well as Asia and North America. The attendees pursue product developments in diverse fields spanning from rapid prototyping and lithography up to medical and life science applications.

October 2007: VISITECH sponsors 2nd European Symposium on Emerging and Industrial DLP® Applications
VISITECH is a main sponsor of the 2nd European Symposium on Emerging and Industrial DLP® Applications, to be held on November 27, 2007 at the Center for High Tech and Culture in Wetzlar, Germany. The symposium will gather 100+ European industry professionals. VISITECH will be presenting "Building Blocks in DLP® Formatter development" as one of more than 10 groundbraking presentations. September 2007: Kick-off development of next generation LED light source
Visitech has been granted a project with one of its long term customers to design a second generation, high-brightness, high-uniformity LED light source. Thanks to long experience, innovative engineers, initial experimenting and new optical design software, Visitech is convinced that this new design will boost the brightness beyond the requirement of this specific application, thus ticking off "Enough LED light - with margin" in the Requirement Verification Report.
September 2007: Visitech is beaming at Photonex07
 October 17th sees the opening of UK's leading annual photonics exhibition, Photonex07, at Stoneleigh Exhibition Centre in Coventry, UK. The two day event covers a vast Technical Programme, containing meetings, seminars and events, along with the exhibition itself. The exhibition area offers an unparalleled environment in which to find out about photonics and optical technologies.
August 2007: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS has appointed new manager for the DLP® Catalog
Eric Braddom has taken on the responsibility for managing the DLP® Catalog business; following a successful start-up of the DLP® China team the past three years. Eric has replaced Nancy Fares. TI's DLP® Catalog recently appointed VISITECH world wide distributor of DDP-type DLP® chip sets for emerging and industrial applications.
August 2007: Delivery of miniaturized DDP 2230 for LED light source
Visitech has successfully developed and delivered a miniaturized DDP 2230 board with X-package DMD and control and driver electronics for RGB LED light source. The board was customized to suit the customer's application with regard to physical size, electronics interface and special software protocols.
August 2007: Visitech is growing
Former colleagues from DAVIS and InFocus has joined Visitech Drammen and Visitech Fredrikstad respectively this summer. They are covering system and electronics hardware design, software development as well as a new Customer Support Manager, Mr. Vegard Borresen, who has been with Viewsonic after leaving DAVIS in 2001.
July 2007: VISITECH's customer Cinevation is successful on sales to TECHNICOLOR
 TECHNICOLOR in Rome, Italy, has purchased a full-featured Cinevator®Five real time digital film recorder/printer from VISITECH's customer CINEVATION. June 2007: VISITECH hosts successful DLP Workshop in Munich
VISITECH organized a very successful workshop on Industrial DLP® Applications at the LASER2007 trade fair in Munich. The workshop gathered 100 European industry professionals and scientists. The key annoncement at this occation was that VISITECH had beed appointed world wide distributor for Texas Instruments’ DDP-type DLP® chip sets for emerging and industrial applications. These DLP® chip sets are available in a broad range of physical sizes and pixel resolutions ranging from VGA to 1080p.

 VISITECH is appointed world wide distributor for Texas Instruments’ DDP-type DLP® chip sets for emerging and industrial applications.
May 2007: VISITECH attends Texas Instruments' DLP® Forum China
VISITECH, with a background of more than 10 years close cooperation with Texas Instruments on DLP® and key suppliers of projection related components and technologies, was invited to join Texas Instruments' DLP® Forum in Shanghai for the fourth year in a row. VISITECH attended with its President and four natives from its Shanghai Office.
April 2007: VISITECH sponsors DLP workshop at the LASER 2007 show in Munich in June
 VISITECH will exhibit at the LASER 2007 - World of Photonics show in Munich, Germany from June 18 - 21. On June 20, VISITECH will sponsor, and also give a technical talk on a DLP workshop.

March 2007: VISITECH delivers first prototype DLP® electronics with DDP2230 formatter.
 VISITECH has since late 2006 worked with the brand new DDP2230 formatter from Texas Instruments. On March 20th the first prototype with the new platform was delivered to a European industrial customer.
February 2007: VISITECH has signed a Eureka contract with the italian company SGM.
The Eureka application is registered and approved by the Eureka committee. The development project will result in a stage light projector with a special light source, that will enable 100% freedom with respect to beam angle towards the stage.
February 2007: VISITECH signs strategic cooperation agreement with SVA.
Visitech has signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with SVA Group in Shanghai, China. This agreement calls for both companies to jointly contribute and share resources in the development and commercialisation of DLP technology.
February 2007: VISITECH moves to new offices in Pudong, Shanghai.
 VISITECH has since 2003 been conducting business activities in PR of China and is now pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Shanghai.
